前些日子離開，讓電腦休息。沒想到這禮拜一回來給我鬧脾氣。

這張圖是正常的 uTorrent，注意工作管理員所顯示的記憶體用量：
(跑了一整晚，剛剛調整時遇到大水管支援)

正常大約為 50~60MB。但之前軟體大概吃了健素糖，對記憶體情有獨鍾，吃了 200MB 以上，造成 WCG 不斷 error，utorrent 也常出現黑屏與檔案記憶體配置錯誤的慘事 還好現在正常了

Ultimately, with your support, scientists are expecting to create successful materials to produce efficient and inexpensive solar cells that will serve as viable solutions for our future energy needs.

Technical Advisory: World Community Grid Moving Servers to a New Location

World Community Grid is getting brand new equipment and relocating its servers to a new IBM location. There is no action required on your part but we wanted you to be aware of the move.

The move starts on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in the evening (approximately 0300 UCT January 8, 2009) and will require us to bring down the website for up to 48 hours.

During the downtime, your computer will be able to continue processing work units for your favorite World Community Grid research project. Your computer will know when the servers are back up and will then continue normal processing.

The move may cause your firewall to prompt you about World Community Grid. If this happens, please re-approve your computers access to World Community Grid.

台灣的11點開始，看到已經來不及屯wu了..

平時就要先囤起來了, 裝完BOINC client都至少都設五天的工作量備著.

不過20核心到今天仍舊沒接過clean energy project的任務......

我只屯了3天,祈禱Server在我算完之前趕快上線...

報告一下最近的狀況

為了"節能減碳"

最近全接clean energy project

目前接的WU都要用3.8Ghz的QX9650 算上10~2X小時之久

而分數通常要在回傳後7~10天或更久之後才會核發下來

目前積了數百小時的分數在Server上
所以看到我最近日產降很多,並不是我偷懶


為啥我要專接clean energy？

因為連Raziel一堆 Q6600都沒辦法接了

我不接,那誰來接?


Raziel簽名檔也改一下吧...WCG不是只專在解決醫療問題的
還有很多重大民生問題

我已經把clean energy 搞出銀牌了!

上個月金牌已經衝好了...
也是用專接The Clean Energy Project的方式，

之前的The Clean Energy Project的deadline跟其他的Project不一樣，
如果不專衝，都會先算別的Project的WU，
等輪到The Clean Energy Project開始算，都快過期了。
所以乾脆專衝The Clean Energy Project。

我想可能要 QX 系列才有可能接到，其他超頻超到偽 QX 系列的不算。不然問問看有誰使用 2way CPU 平台接到的？

其實我個人認為clean energy project暫時收不到work是因為許多衝badge的成員集中

火力先跑這個專案,以便在專案結束前拿到較高等級的牌, 這也是意料中的事情, 官網論壇

在一發布CE專案時就有打預防針了, 希望大家不要只有跑這個任務, 不過坦白說,平平在跑,

badge累積到金牌當然是比較爽, 僧多粥少的情況下, ranking一下高檔配備先跑也不為過,

不過我是覺得沒差那麼多, 在官網註明跑CE的系統需求其實不高, 而且WCG的任務也只有

單緒, 支援N核心只不過是將多任務湊數給N核去跑, 要是C2D/Q 3.2G~3.6GHz都還接不到,

可能九成九的設備運算力都不及格, 所以我是持十分保留的看法, 應只是個人對所接專案

偏好設定的因素, 如果以現在WCG的成員數若全部單衝CE是給不出任務的, 長期來看,

既有專案還是要有人執行, 我會繼續跑所有主題,

不過既然要設僅CE專案才接得到, 剛剛已經改了profile設定, 只接CE,觀察看看狀況會如何~
