The FBI announced in July that it had completed its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server when she was secretary of state, concluding that although she and her aides were “extremely careless” with the handling of classified information, there was no case for criminal prosecution. 有使用私人郵件主機處理機密公務是已經確認的，
只是檢察官認為雖然極度不小心，但並無犯罪意圖也無法構成起訴條件.
目前這次又是FBI頭頭冒出來說，在調查助理往來郵件中，發現有重新展開調查的可能(並未展開調查) 。
而且這位FBI頭子還先去問過司法部門，得到的建議是發表這個聲明，並不符合當局一貫的政策，不知為何一定要講一講。
